Bad Ideas For Your Next School Scrapbook
While you'd like your high school scrapbook to be personal and memorable there are still a number of things that you actually should try and avoid. I have noted some of these in here that may surprise you, but listen to me, if I hadn't seen it done already, they would not be in here.
Include The People You Don't like
There's little worse than looking at somebody else's scrapbook and have them make negative comments about pictures of the people in there. Scrapbooks are meant for (typically) good memories and saying negative things about the people in there will only make the person viewing your book uncomfortable.
If you simply cannot help yourself, make the book, get it out of your system and don't show it to anybody - you may only come off as bitter.
Write All Your Entries Like a five Year Old
While it might look like a good idea, trust me - it is not. What starts off as lovable and fun, quickly degenerates in an annoying and tough to read manner.
There is a reason you don't write like this anymore, so show everybody how far you've come by NOT doing this anymore.
If you simply can't resist, include only one or two little short readable notes.
Include Recent Photos of You In Your Old School Uniform
This is just all kinds of wrong. While Brittany Spears made this look attractive, most likely you won't. It will just be ill-fitting and make you look bad.
So unless you are a pop star with the body to match, don't do it. This counts double-time for boys.
Add Every Detention and Note Sent Home From Teachers
OK, so you may have had a bad streak, many of us go through that defiant time, but don't go over the top with showing us precisely how bad you have been.
Stick to one page of notices at a maximum. Pick your favorite notes - it will get the point across without going to far.
So there you have it, an easy list you need to avoid with your next school scrapbook. Now if you'll pardon me, I need to go lie down.
